  Connect Somerset Area Champions will have a pivotal role in championing community early help and prevention work in a geographic area to improve the lives of children and young people, families, vulnerable adults, older people and other residents. The Area Champion will be a visible figure in each local area, networking with universal services, VCFSE groups and public services together to improve how we wrap support around residents and families. The role will support re-orientating public services around a community-led model by working directly with senior leaders from the NHS, Education and Somerset Council, among others, to improve Council and partner service delivery and results for residents.
