  Whilst working for Aspin Group I sustained a spinal cord injury following a fall in 2012. Due to the injury and the very significant ongoing disability coupled with the side effects of high doses of medication I was unable to return to work with Aspin. In the past twelve months I have managed to reduce my morphine dose by over 50%. My clarity of mind and memory have returned and I want to put them to productive use. Given my knowledge of the industry gained over 30 years and my expertise in technical writing and reviewing I am keen to discuss part-time roles with former colleagues and friends.

  My employment with Aspin ended in July 2019 when the company went into administration (and subsequent liquidation). I suffered a spinal cord injury following a fall in August 2012. I was never able to return to work with Aspin - my role remained open as I stayed on the payroll due to an Insurance backed income benefit.
