  As an Information Systems Technician aboard USS MISSOURI (SSN-780), I had: • Recovered & restored mission-critical information, keeping the ship on schedule and preventing a major delay in shipboard work. • Developed and led training to the IT workforce and network users covering the span of day-to- to­day operations, to intricate troubleshooting scenarios. • Served as the liaison for contractor support during major system upgrades, as well as resolving critical program failures. • Managed and assigned technicians to repair known issues with equipment. • Major role in developing cyber security instructions that cover disaster recovery, contingency planning, basic user responsibilities, backup schemes, and control of data extracted from the classified network. • Rebuilt a backup repository server and fully re-configured back-up job in accordance with the disaster recovery plan after complete failure of the server. • Managed and secured SECRET and UNCLASSIFIED network enclaves. • Provided user account creation, account permissions, and training to new staff members on cyber security policies and proper use of the IT infrastructure. • Deployed security patching, completed monthly vulnerability scanning, and provided security reports to senior leadership.
