ariTV is a primarily internet-based media company specializing in video production. It is a small independent company of ~10-20 employees; for most of my time there I was the only non-Japanese. The primary business of ariTV in 2012-2013 was the Tohoku Revival Calendar (東北復興カレンダー), a project on behalf of Sendai City to chronicle the aftermath of and recovery from the Great Tohoku Tsunami of March 2011, and to promote the city and region.
