  ● Leading the department to record high results of 97% pass rate which are the best in the country. ● Created a broad and balanced PE curriculum in collaboration with the department and student feedback. Whilst meeting the requirements from Ofsted and the governments guidance for the National Curriculum. Creatively finding solutions to whole school events that impact on the spaces available to the department. ● Managed a £12,000 budget to ensure that the department continues to progress whilst maintaining full working order. Researching and negotiating the best prices for equipment and services has been essential with shrinking budgets. ● Working in collaboration with the business manager and external construction companies to plan the development of the new sports complex. Strategic solutions have been implemented to ensure that the new facilities meet the requirements for the curriculum whilst ensuring that the disruption of the current curriculum is limited. It has been imperative that alterations to plans have been carefully negotiated to ensure the new facilities meet the requirements for all stakeholders. ● Restructuring of the department was essential and lead on incorporating two essential roles within the team to improve efficiency and department morale. ● Reporting to regulators and the CEO of the MAT - producing and presenting termly reports for examination group performance against KPI’s. Using this opportunity to share interventions that have been strategically planned to improve performance and efficiency. ● Led whole school sports day and other events for over 1800 students, requiring vast amounts of strategic planning. ● Liaising with the Principle to establishing the development of subject roadmap to ensure that the Subject Improve Plan supports the Whole School Improvement Plan. ● Adapting to daily change to staffing and putting cover in place to ensure that lessons run smoothly for the department.
