First thing that comes to me about Andy is a hard-working person who performs and delivers under the pressure. I had the pleasure of meeting Andy Olsen back in 2009, when he hired me, and working under his management on development of the new generation radial gas turbine (2MW) until 2014. At that time Andy was working as a Program Manager and Engineering Team Lead. He showed willingness and dedication to execute the job efficiently and in the best possible way as well as he showed well organized skills and support to all his fellow colleagues. His engineering knowledge, experience and skills contributed to successful execution of different projects. I was particularly impressed by Andy’s ability to handle tight budget, deadlines and quite often quite demanding people. It was a pleasure having opportunity to work together with Andy until 2020 where I learned a lot about

Andy is an incredibly talented and dedicated Chief Engineer & Development Program Manager. He lead the development of multiple technologies for our Oil & Gas and Renewables business efforts. His micro-turbine expertise is highly regarded in the industry and throughout the company we worked. I had selected Andy to be the Chief Engineer on our patented Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) >$200M program; he was instrumental in capturing the contract win and lead the development efforts. Andy has always been dedicated to the success of the business and is willing to fill many roles as needed.

Leader of the development team to Design, Demonstrate, Launch and then Production support of the 250kW recuperated microturbine. • Scope was very similar to the 2MW gas turbine development in Norway, except this was starting with a clean sheet of paper, recuperated and US based, with turbomachinery help from Norway. • Recruited by D-R Norway when 30 units were in production, now 350 units with >7 million Hours.
