Handpicked to take charge of asset protection of the onshore oil pipeline infrastructure, two major oil terminals and critical national infrastructure sites, including the feed into two major airports, two rail loading facilities and a datacentre. This is a fast-paced position, managing +£500k annual budget, and holding critical accountability for security risk analysis/management and criminal incident investigations. Annual internal HSSEQ audits are part of the role. Leader of 4 multi-site contracted security teams, with oversight of 9 varying security contracts. Accountable for anticipating, understanding and meeting bespoke requirements of top-level stakeholders in the high-risk Middle East context. Support was strategic and operational in nature. Managed a team of 10, a mixture of locally employed assets and Aegis team staff. • Promoted through three levels to team leader in just 5 months following high performance. • Safeguarded the interests of an oil & gas major, delivering operational planning, incident services and more. • Co-ordinated and conducted dynamic and specific threat and risk assessments for static/mobile upstream oil installations. • Chosen to provide specialist security protection to the US Task Force for Business Stability Operations.• Integral role in build of a life support camp, including provision of specific blast protection design advice.
