Head Coach Men's Wheelchair Basketball
-
Aug 2020 - Aug 2022
As the head coach of men's wheelchair basketball, I planned and came up with individual and team goals while keeping the athletes' health and safety in mind. I helped students achieve their goals and be successful in life by coaching them well. It's important to note that I helped the team by making travel plans and giving scholarships by making good use of budget/fundraising money. Some highlights of my key contributions are: Planned and initiated first collegiate UW-W Wheelchair Tennis program in the country. Interviewed, recruited, and onboarded qualified student-athletes from all over the country and world. Hosted a golf outing and acted as director of cornerstones for success disability awareness program, raised $15K for program by delivering effective presentations. Won national champion award two times. Generated more than $20K worth of endowment fund for wheelchair athletic scholarships. Successfully managed camping activities as well as navigated the team throughout the pandemic. Show less
