As the elected co-captain of SUBC, I help lead a management group composed of executive members and team leads through daily tasks, long term goals, and general organization of all 55+ team members. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic an important aspect of this position has been the sustainment of an inclusive and accessible community for all members globally. Multiple initiatives have been taken to promote community such as synchronous and asynchronous technical workshops and virtual socials.

A research intensive position that focused on the implementation of biomimetic locomotion in a human power submarine. My primary area of focus was on the locomotion of the Rajiformes and Myliobatiformes orders. Tasks included, visual presentations, feasibility analysis, and CAD conceptualization.

During my 8 month Co-op at LB Foster, I wasa member of the Rail Technologies Mobile Engineering Group. I was primarily assigned independent design and validation tasks for custom mechanical systems for global clients. Throughout my co-op position, I extensively used Solidworks, AutoCAD Inventor Nastran, nCode, and the Microsoft Suite. Additional tasks included, creating and maintaining engineering drawings, developing client installation manuals, and working with vendors to assess quotes and IT challenges.
