Probably the best five years of employment I've experienced due to the luxury of being on the water for 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. I had many responsibilities, but the most important one was ensuring the comfort and safety of the passengers. 6-Pack Captains LiscenseDaily Duties Included:- Bait prep and inventory- Change out of fishing gear- Clean and prep boat twice daily- Boat maintenance and safety checks- Customer Service- Filleting show (Record was 72 fish skinned and bagged in less than 25 min.)- Safety training for customers- Navigating using maps and markers- Ability to interpret GPS and Sonar- Ability to identify species of marine life not typically seen- Knowledge of Long Island Sound and Fishers Island Sound
