In my role as a Support Consultant at Ramsac, I take calls from clients reporting support issues on a huge variety of different systems and setups. The work is varied and challenging and I use a lot of systems that I am learning as I go. Working to SLAs is new to me, and having to interact with clients remotely rather than being able to sit down with them is something I am adapting to. My primary role is supporting all of the PCs and Macs at Surfdome, troubleshooting problems both software and hardware, upgrading and repairing PCs and Macs and rolling out new tech to people as we expand the business. I have responsibility for ordering all of the PCs and Electronics that we require to make this possible. I have recently become responsible for Administrating our new ticketing system here at Surfdome. We are using Bugherd to capture any work that needs dong on our internal tools and site. I have a major role in the Asset Management and Inventory of all of the Company Hardware across our Head office, Studio and Warehouse sites. When I am not doing the above I also perform clerical duties for our large Buying team, helping them to create Purchase orders and Line Lists for Brands so that the company can continue to buy in the latest fashions from some of the biggest brands in the business. This process involves a lot of data manipulation in Excel.

I had responsibility for the day to day running of the store with the help of my assistant manager and 8 staff. I had to organise Payroll, Rotas and Banking as well as undetake training of my staff so they could grow in their roles and lighten the load on myself and the A.M. I ran the monthly stock takes on all product in the store, was responsible for the merchandising of the store and the hiring of new people for our team. It was also my long term task, with the assistance of my Area Manager, to grow the business and make more money for the store. All this while trying to keep my store in a clean and tidy state for customers and trying to give the best customer service possible to all who walked through the doors.
