Partnership decreased time for new keys to be made from one week to one hour, allowing rentals to be available for the consumer immediately, increasing availability by approximately 200%. -Implement more efficient defleet process Cut down on vehicle idle time at supply chain by inspecting and identifying points of repair for wholesale cars all at once, rather than sequentially. With this process, we cut the time a car sits idle on the lot by 50% and enables us to get a car to auction 3-6 days faster while increasing vehicle sale price during the optimal wholesale market. -Optimized cost tracking from vendors Using a rough existing Excel template, I optimized how our team tracks costs from vendors who perform multiple services. Using this tracker, we are easily able to double check individual invoices when reviewing monthly P&L sheets in order to account for specific costs and how to avoid or lower spending. Responsibilities: -Assign maintenance jobs to field workers based on member reports (cleaning, damage, maintenance needs). -Coordinate payment for outsources vendors and ensure payroll is met on time, coding invoices in accounts payable system for P&L sheet; maintaining outsourced vendor relations, renegotiating rates when appropriate. -Oversee all renewal of vehicle registrations and inspections by creating an organized system to prevent members from driving vehicles with expired registrations. -Manage the process of in-fleeting and de-fleeting vehicles from our 1000+ car fleet, including Zipcar branding preparation and installation of Zipcar's proprietary access system. -Assist in hiring, training, and ongoing supervision of 5 Fleet Associates based upon my experience defining the Fleet Associate position in Boston.
