Simplicity is a KiwiSaver provider and fund manager. We are a not for profit organisation - our focus is on working for investors; not taking fees from them. Our business is largely on-line with few employees and minimal other overheads. We have a passive approach to investment, basing our asset allocations on market research by Morningstar and investing with Vanguard for everything apart from local markets. We could not find an index fund at a reasonable price in New Zealand, so we will do it ourselves. Most of the administrative functions are outsourced to MMC. My role is trying to make sure it all runs smoothly.
