Following a comprehensive interview process with six other candidates I was proud to be appointed as the Analytical Manager/Project Manager for Shield On-Site Services. This was a big step in my career and one which I was keen to grab with both hands. With several years of undertaking technical site activities, including surveying, air monitoring and four-stage clearances, I was confident in my ability to succeed in this new position.This position allowed me to develop my technical knowledge gained from site and enhance it further by gaining experience of client interaction, finance management, providing consultancy and managing processes and people.During my time in this position, it was my main responsibilty to provide comprehesive technical asbestos abatement specifications for various clients, most notably a large Manchester based University.
