Andy was not only my top performer on the WHP JETS DWP contract, but also the top performing Recruitment Manager across all programmes in Reed in Partnership. An absolute joy to work with, and is a true gentleman, who on many occasions, supported those in my downline and dotted line, without being asked, to great success. I cannot begin to describe how passionate Andy is about supporting the unemployed back into work.

Manhattan Training was created during 2018 directly due the experience our clients, Fresh Logistics, received when using a broad range of agency support staff last year. Our encounters were as follows: Drivers either not arriving on time or at all. Poor knowledge of vehicle safety. No previous experience of refrigerated transportation. Lack of kit required to carry out their duties. Sub standard awareness of the legalities in regards to being a professional driver. Our findings as mentioned above created the desire to improve standards and provide a meaningful training platform to enhance the front end experience when using an agency driver. To that end, all our drivers have passed a detailed induction program which includes the following: Tacho regulations and WTD directives. Walk about checks and reporting procedures. Refrigerated temperature requirements & monitoring process. Operating Thermo King, Carrier and Hubbard refrigeration units. POD instructions, seeking authority to deliver and temperature reports. Use of tail lifts. Manual handling. Load security. Communication expectations. Manhattan Training are a 24/7 driver recruitment agency that provides drivers with our own internal standard of training with the purpose of making the integration of our drivers into your fleet as seamless as possible. If they don’t pass, we won’t send them to you, simple as that. We currently supply drivers to a number of both temperature-controlled and ambient companies across the East Midlands and would relish being given the opportunity to show how our drivers perform. We work with all class of drivers, so whatever your need we will look to accommodate be it regular, emergency or short-term cover, just give me a shout. It would be great if we could say hello face to face and discuss further your requirements and how we could assist. If you require the help of Manhattan, give us a call today! We hope to hear from you soon Show less
