I worked with Andrew for almost 2 years; he is the first person I had the chance to talk with, for my first interviews. Very friendly and open-minded, Andrew impressed me with his knowledge and management of forums structures. He also always follows-up on things and make sure to come up with full polished projects and ideas. Very passionate about gaming communities, Andrew is always seeking for the most recent official communications he can share to the players. Communication is one of Andrew's very strong assets. I learned a lot thanks to Andrew's knowledge, and I can't thank him enough for this. He is a person I would love to work with, again, and again!

Andrew has an almost superhuman ability to retain information. This combined with his insight and expertise is priceless especially when tasked to help create accessible and intuitive platforms for players. We worked together to plan a series of videos, create wiki content, and review/ revise web-based user interfaces and experiences. For other tasks which required extremely fast turnarounds, Andrew was always available to provide his thoughts and assist in any way possible. Whether it was helping design a web experience or educating people on obscure, ancient Irish words, Andrew leads by example and is an invaluable asset to any team. Finally...this recommendation wouldn't be complete without mentioning his expertly maintained beard, which I have always admired.

Much of my community management involves promoting our mod authors, and the amazing work they create. This has been especially important with the release of console modding, as so many didn't know where to start. Two of my more visible efforts are monthly in-game mod features, and author interviews. Articles pertaining to both can be found here: https://bethesda.net/en/news?tags=mods Separate from modding, I also assist with Creation Club. This program takes community creators, mainly modders, and hires them as professional contract developers. Creators are trained in our development pipeline, assisted in collaboration efforts, and brought along the full development cycle of their content, from pitch to release. For those interested in the industry, they get to see a process that usually takes years completed at a small scale in a matter of months. Most recently, I was an integral part of the Skyrim Anniversary Edition release. This included a massive release of Creation Club content, and over half a dozen articles promoting Creation Club or Modding. Show less

I was one of the global forum administrators for Bethesda.net and Elder Scrolls Online, as well as the "forum guru" (and acting forum producer) for Customer Support and the Bethesda Community Team. https://bethesda.net/en/article/3J57KMeHyE2gKcumWQWOSU/new-forums-new-adventureAs a senior social analyst I maintained my previous work as a Social Analyst, and took on additional responsibilities concerning our forums and the operation of the Social Engagement department. I was involved in long term planning for the department, and acted as team lead for some projects as we further developed and refined our work.I was the acting product owner of the Elder Scrolls Online forum technology, and later moved to assist with Bethesda.net forums development. This involved collecting and organizing requirements from stakeholders while applying my own expertise, and being available to the engineers if questions arose. As fixes and new features became available to test, I spearheaded this, often coordinating with QA and overseeing teammates assisting with the process. In December 2015, I took full responsibility for forum moderation. In this capacity I oversaw internal, outsourced, and volunteer moderators across all Bethesda forums, and Bethesda.net Mods. I initially ran all team training, although over time our veteran team members took over most of this when new moderators came on board. In May 2016 we launched Mod support on Bethesda.net, which was tremendously exciting because it also meant bringing mods to consoles. My team headed up moderation, and I worked with the Bethesda.net on moderation tool improvements as well as community-facing development. This was especially challenging as the console community was hungry for mods, but largely unfamiliar with the the culture of the PC modding community. I would tackle this more directly in my next role. Show less

I worked on the forums and social media channels for The Elder Scrolls Online, assisting both the player base and internal customers. Our team worked closely with the ESO community managers to provide players with a safe and welcoming environment to discuss the game. This included offering one-to-one and one-to-many support answering player questions and assisting them with problems (primary around beta events). Most of my work concerned the ESO beta forums and our presence on social media. I also helped define and execute our moderation policy on the forums. For internal customers, I helped provide reporting and metrics on our community and the operations of my team. I assisted with daily and weekly reporting regarding sentiment, trending issues, and activity metrics for our community, and was the creator of two of these reports.I was Customer Support’s subject matter expert for forums and Elder Scrolls lore. As the former, I helped investigate Vanilla Forums technology for the team, and organized and maintained our internal documentation for the forums. As the latter, I created and ran training for the CS onboarding process that introduced the Elder Scrolls world to new employees. I also fielded questions from members of CS when they were stumped with different lore questions by the players. Show less
