While I only reported directly to Andrew in my last few months working at Garrett Motion, I did enjoy his tutelage and guidance as one of my senior team mates from the day I started my job. As a result I can confidently say that Andrew has a strong knack for the technical aspects of mechanical engineering. Furthermore, as an engineering manager Andrew impressed me with his ability to provide clear direction and maintain focus on important tasks. His communication was always clear and concise and prioritized efficiency. Andrew is an extremely results driven individual who has demonstrated a strong ability for communicating with senior management on important topics. Working for Andrew was a pleasure as I knew I wouldn't be working to changing requirements or targets and could trust that the work being requested would have tangible impacts on the business and was worth while. Andrew was one of product engineers that had a very strong overview of their portfolio summarizing all boundary conditions & operating conditions of the base product. Andrew is highly professional engineer with a strong focus on standardization of products across platform sizes in his responsibility. Andrew is always able to quickly provide engineering feedback on outstanding level to support further standardization, development and validation of final product customized according to the customer needs. I can say, Andrew is able to clearly identify risks in product development as same as opportunities of further improvements of final product. He is able to drive technical discussions upon various topics starting with definition of new product opportunities and ending with providing a complex analyses solving various technical challenges.
