      I have been in this current role for just over 3 years. My position, (Hardware Solutions Engineer) was an opportunity that came out of the blue, however it gave me a lot of freedom to improve areas within the EMEA region Inc. Customer Account Management from a technical aspect. This includes hardware and firmware issues, Customer technical support both by phone and in person, Proof of Concept (POC) programs and delivering training to both equipment installers and Customer users. My role is field, office and remote based. I have had a great deal of success coordinating, System development teams (in USA and New Zealand), with Customers’ needs, in the EMEA region. I am able enhance Customers perceptions & capabilities to get the maximum out of the product. My responsibilities are testing hardware and operating systems, designing cables and influencing product change. I’ve worked with platform development teams to introduce improved functionality into an already very capable platform and have worked very closely with the EMEA Support teams to bring about a positive outcome to Customer issues. I have simplified complicated installs processes, by authoring install guides and designing wiring harnesses, delivered onsite training with both Customers and product installers. Together with Sales Engineering teams, I’ve progressed Proof of Concept elements, by introducing Customer and fleet surveys, installing equipment and running the POC test period of usually 2 weeks to a month.
