To-date, these include: Maintenance Strategy Development and Implementation: As part of a 6 month secondment as a Rotating Equipment Engineer for a leading fertiliser producer, I have been tasked with developing and centralising maintenance strategies using RCM principles for a complete range of rotating machinery and developing processes around strategy management and implementation. This has included database development and document generation on a large scale. Operational Readiness: Development of maintenance strategies and work instructions for new and existing equipment packages, as well as population of master data requirements such as asset hierarchies, criticality assessments, preventive maintenance, sparing/BOMs etc. Critical Asset Audit: Review of existing asset hierarchies and maintenance through extensive data manipulation to determine if existing maintenance practices are sufficient, if they can be optimised and if statutory requirements are being met.

This has allowed further utilization of previous experience relating to CMMS maintenance systems through the raising and tracking of follow up corrective maintenance actions, trending of maintenance history and guiding clients maintenance strategies based on derived conclusions. I have also had the opportunity to deliver complete condition monitoring programs for a large network of CSG facilities covering a diverse range of rotating machines. This included: o Identification of optimal location and installation of vibration targets for routine condition, o Development of machine hierarchies and parameter sets in relating software packages (Ascent) o Additional condition based monitoring using GE's System 1 software, o Supplying the client with relevant documentation such as facility packs and program build summaries. o Non-routine troubleshooting such as identification of issues relating to high vibration in static equipment such as piping and small bore fittings; I have also been fortunate enough to be exposed to advanced troubleshooting methods including: o Measurement and implementation of thermal growth offsets to correct misalignment in complex machines; o Ultrasonic measurement, preliminary analysis and reporting of the identification of cylinder head valve recession as a failure mode in CAT 3500 series gas driven engines; o Recording of vibration measurements across complex structures for the purpose of ODS and modal analysis. This role has also offered significant project management experience as the project owner for a number of large condition monitoring programs across one of Queensland's leading LNG suppliers including management of budgets, resourcing, forecasting and client deliverables.
