Responsibilities: Initially I project managed the set-up of Work’n it Out including all aspects of the implementation. For example, specifying the database requirements, recruiting all staff and developing the policies and procedures to ensure the project ran effectively. I was responsible for the training needs and professional development for approximately 150 people within the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch regions. Up to six individuals reported to me at any one time throughout these projects. It’s great to be able to say that all projects we were involved with were successful. Among them, projects of note, included; - The launch and stabilization of a new Contact Centre for Telecom JetStream (a broadband restructure) - The Xtra Helpdesk - A new Telecom 123 centre - National Insurance Life & Health inbound and outbound centres - AMI Outbound sales - BNZ All Blacks Card (Outbound team) - The reengineering of Toll Rail NZ reservations Contact Centre - The start-up and on-going running of the Meridian Energy Retail Operations Centre (ROC) located in Christchurch. While responsible for re-development of the Xtra Helpdesk training, Telecom Xtra won the TUANZ Internet Service Provider of the Year award - five years in a row. In order to manage the four million projected calls regarding the introduction of the ten year driver licence, we launched a new Land Transport Authority Customer Contact Centre located in Auckland. I was involved in other projects such as the re-engineering of the training for the LTSA Road User Charges training systems in Palmerston North and delivered development programmes for Walker Wireless, among other projects.
