  Working as part of a team, I research, write, and edit deals. This involves understanding the market place for a wide range of products in the US, what interests our readers, and what will produce traffic for our site. To this end, it is important to keep up with seasonal trends and commercial enterprises, particularly with major sale events such as Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday.On a daily basis, I am responsible for covering several sites’ daily deals, ensuring a consistent flow of published content (through curating sites for deals, writing them, and editing others’), and helping with issues/inquiries (if a deal is worth posting, submitted offers from third parties, if a coupon code is live, etc.)Our team spirit is what makes Dealnews a great place to work however. Individually, we pride ourselves in the deals we take ownership of but we work together to meet sale targets, cover specific areas, and offer a second or third perspective on any deals or problems that might arise.For the last five years, Dealnews has been a highly positive and encouraging environment.   Since joining in September 2015, I’ve found Dealnews to be a challenging but wholly rewarding experience. My role involves writing and researching deals found on or sent from a range of sites, including Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Macy’s, Dell, and eBay. In this capacity, attention to detail is crucial and with every deal, it is necessary to check for previous listings we’ve made of that offer and be able to justify why it serves the reader well.
