Producing reliable statistics for Senior Management, on a daily basis or when required using Access and Excel. Producing validation checks in Access, to ensure the data is accurate. Ensuring the checks are carried out on a regular basis. Ensuring there is adequate staffing of the data capture teams, during our Enrolment period, both within the section's area and within the specified enrolment area. This requires using staff from the other teams from within the College Information Systems Department and occasionally temporary staff. I liased on a daily basis with all levels of staff within the College answering their queries and providing support should they need it. I have prepared and submitted a return to local Authorities for the Education Maintenance Allowance scheme on a weekly basis within a strict deadline, which I always met. Keeping the Course database up to date, ensuring the information is inputted correctly and making sure the College procedures are followed, and confirming to the user this has been completed. In June 02 my procedures, passed internal and external audits on the procedures I follow without any queries being raised. Monitoring the performance of the inputting of the data inputting, and ensuring their work allocated is completed within the service standards set by the College. When an offer for a vessel was made, I would discuss the offers with either Owners of the Vessel, the proposed Buyers or Other Shipbrokers, and then actively negotiate till an agreement was made. When a deal to purchase a vessel was agreed I would prepare the necessary Memorandum of Agreements (Contracts), Bills of Sate and other documents to ensure the deal went through correctly. I sold my first vessel in August 1985 and had a fairly good record until I left. I also undertook valuations of vessels for various principals, and this sometimes included going to the vessel and doing a general inspection.
