      Having completed my degree in Hotel Management I was honoured to be selected for Hilton's Sales and Marketing Graduate training scheme. With an intake of only 5, I was delighted to get such a good opportunity and worked in Watford Head Office and Bristol, before securing my first role in regional sales based in Leeds. Responsible for generating new business and account management of corporate accounts and agencies across the North East of England and Scotland. I worked with some truly inspirational people and will never forget the great leadership from David Michels, James Farrow, Fay Sharpe, Karen Kelly Moore and Peter Jaques to name but a few!       Ha ha! Whilst still at University, they asked ME, of all people, to work at the Rose and Crown pub in the EPCOT Centre as a 'cultural representative' !! - what were they thinking! I mean, 9 months in Florida, 1200 international staff and the chance to go to as many parties as I wanted...were they completely mad? Joking aside, what a truly memorable experience and a great honour to serve such a wonderful company - so many happy memories of the United States, The Walt Disney Company and the many friends I made from all over the world...happy days that I will cherish always.
