From creating a short documentary on the MSU Swim and Dive team to telling the story of a family that was reunited through TikTok after being separated at birth, I found complicated stories and made them easy to understand. Responsibilities included day-turning stories, on-camera reporting, writing articles, shooting video, creating engaging headlines, and more.

My responsibilities were to improve the website and to provide content with in-depth articles focusing on college football and basketball. I also promoted the show on social media, assisted in research for the show and for articles on the website and came into the studio to appear on the show two or three times a week. I worked 20 hours a week at the station and shot football, basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball, softball and volleyball at the high school and college level. I did many profiles on staples of the Williamston community and also covered current events. I also was a founding member of the group Inside 83, which focused on Michigan political events and produced an in-depth series on campaign financing in Michigan. When the LPGA Tour’s Volvik Championship was in town, I received a credential and did a story on how it affected local businesses.
