Working on new product development in their engineering department for 75kw-1Mwatt commercial & industrial Natural Gas Boilers. Some of the Projects involved:- - designing sheet metal product casing to meet their groups industrial design. - Design, modelling & CFD analysis of a Gas transition duct which are aluminium high pressure die casted. - A new high capacity Air Filter development using polypropylene with plastic clip features for quick filter medium replacement and filter removal. CFD to minimise flow resistance across the filter and reduce noise. - Concentric flue case adapter design which involves the need for complex mould tool design and seals to reduce piece part cost. FEA non linear simulation was used for seal design. - Fabricated welded plinth/base design, which reduced the part cost and used FEA to ensure adequate strength was maintained
