The 87th MDG was awarded AF/SG's Most Improved MTF for Access in 2016 and won the the AFMS 2017 Superior Access to Care Award, 2017 AMC Medical Home Award, and 2017 MHS High Reliability in Healthcare Access to Care Award from AMSUS.
