This position not only manages the requirements of the department’s TV broadcast contract with ESPN and the American Conference but also serves as the liaison between the athletics department and our external partners in broadcasting such as ESPN, CBS and the American Conference. This position participates in the development of departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures and provides daily oversight, leadership and management for all video broadcasting aspects and positions.• Supervise the athletics video and broadcasting office, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to ensure full staff coverage of all required games and events• Produce live, multi-camera broadcasts of athletics contests, ensuring all broadcasts fulfill conference regulations and production standards• Manage relationships with external broadcast partners such as ESPN, CBS and the American Conference in the preparation and production of live broadcasts and related on-demand content• Handle live and/or on-demand video coverage of various events such as press conferences, special announcements and special events• Manage the setup, management, in-game direction and upkeep of all video boards and streaming equipment at athletics facilities.   My duties at WHNO included all aspects of production: Successfully directed over 25 games a year for WHNO including high school sports and college sports for the past 6 years. For the 2016-2017 season all games were produced with 5 cameras in HD as well as streamed to the web. Produced or directed over 70 sports shows a year. (three different shows, over 26 weeks) Which includes writing show rundowns, creating graphics, editing supporting video, creating show look & coordinating talent. Helped design, maintain and repair video equipment on our video production truck. Completed commercial productions shoots with Panasonic P2 cameras or Mirrorless DSLRs.
