Andrew showed a lot of moxie during his internship with Husky Athletics/Pac-12 Sales. Since his internship happened during the pandemic, we were unable to give him the same experience as other UW students in the past. However, this did not stop Andrew from reaching out and finding ways to be involved and learn more about the business. He showed he is humble and hardworking during his tenure, which are two characteristics that are extremely valuable.

Employed over two summers by Earth Systems So. Calif. as an Intern Engineering Technician. Duties included surveying and plotting infiltration test locations, excavation of test holes followed by groundwater infiltration testing and logging the results. Test results were then transcribed and data entered into a computer program aimed at estimating the suitability of natural soils to accept the amount of wastewater from a large group facility. This work was done to provide a component of the Civil Engineering suitability study required by the permitting environmental agency. Show less
