Work Experience with the Romford Recorder

Apr 2016 - Jun 2016
The majority of my time was spent on the news desk, writing up stories that came in via press releases or sourced by other journalists. Several I had to phone up and gather the information myself. Also went out the office and completed an interview for a special supplement on the Queen's 90th birthday. I also spent two weeks on the sports desk where I was asked to attend Barkingside vs Aveley and to write a match report up on it. Also helped with sourcing and writing articles for supplements on the new cricket season and Euro 2016. Show less
