Designed a valved-mouthpiece for an affordable asthma spacer that could be cheaply mass manufactured to increase access to spacers for asthma and COVID-19 patients in low income areas. Managed the entire project from concept design to manufacture. Worked on design, regulatory approval, prototyping, manufacturing and patenting while working with specialist clinicians that approved the design. Worked on mechanical design of regulatory testing equipment and protocols for the ZiBiPen auto injector device to ISO 11608-1:2014.Participated in design thinking and conceptualisation workshops for the user centered design of the ZiBiPen and Easy Squeezy - a sleeve attachment for asthma inhalers to reduce the force of activation. Worked on the Afrispacer project with the Allergy Foundation of South Africa. I designed and built equipment to increase post-processing for bottle spacers locally, where we were able to process 30 000 bottle spacers in two days, a 1400% increase in production.

Designed and built a high-speed camera mounting rig for a blast pendulum. Was solely responsible for this project from the design through to the build and implementation phase.Involved in the testing of blast loaded amour plates with the Australian Defence Force where the mounting rig was used.
