It has been a pleasure getting to know Andrew this past winter during his internship. Andrew came into this internship with one simple request. He wanted to do something that was meaningful for the Company. I found this incredibly refreshing to have a young man that wanted to be placed into a leadership role that would allow him to be personally and professionally stretched but also he was look for a project assignment that would have a significant impact on the company moving forward. Andrew was given an assignment or project to evaluate the probability of starting a Tire recycling operation at our organization. The expectation is that Andrew would take the project from its inception to delivery. Andrew not only put together a strategic plan for this initiative but he also spent hours in research of the tire industry as a whole. His endeavor over the next few months would provide Cohen with the analytics and threat analysis that would allow the senior management team to make an informed and educated decision on the feasibility of implementing this multi million dollar project. Andrew’s skill with interviewing people and teams within the industry was put to the test and he came through with flying praise. He then was able to seek out industry standards and articulate the pros and cons of an industry he knew nothing about before he started. Andrew was able, and this is key, to assemble an analysis of strengths, weaknesses and recommend outcomes in such a manner that gave the senior staff an informed and technically articulated report. Andrew was then able to interview several groups of people who were considered subject matter experts in their areas, and then put together a compelling presentation that he then delivered to the ownership and executive management. The company actually made their decision based upon Andrews comprehensive research. This was a great opportunity for Andrew and more importantly and incredible contribution to Cohen. Not just another internship. I would recommend Andrew in several areas: 1. His take charge attitude: He wanted to do more than sit and staple papers 2. His professional demeanor with office employees 3. His communication abilities to take to individuals at many different levels within the company 4. His public speaking abilities: not just a good communicator but a persuasive communicator 5. His ability to motivate and inspire others: a key leadership character trait here. He excited people about tire recycling. Not an easy task Brad Self Chief Talent Officer Cohen USA

My job requires checking in freight. Then I have to count, tag and fold the clothes. After I do that I have to bring the clothes to the floor. I also got to make sure the store is clean.
