Rodrigo Sobisch
Worked with Andres for more than two years in a really challenging project for a us based startup in the aeroespacial industry. The challenge itself was tough to achieve, Andres managed really well all the technicall challenges we've faced during this period. I worked with Andrés for quite a few months in a project where I played the role of "in the background" project manager, and he always proved to be a deeply committed collaborator. During the many months that the project elapsed, the project team as a whole suffered several ramp-downs chiefly as a result of client budget, and Andrés always rose up to the occasion and gave his best to keep the project going. This was even the case when the technical lead on the team left the project to pursue other adventures and Andrés had to step up and help take the reins of the whole thing along with another fellow developer, the only other surviving member of the ramp-down. Working from home often can constitute a challenge in some people's cases when the level of supervision needed is high, but this was at no time Andrés's case as he was always available when he was needed. Even to the last day in the company, his level of autonomy and sense of responsibility made him a fully trustable collaborator to work with. Andrés learned throughout the year or so we worked together, both in terms of technical skills but also in his English delivery, especially when he had to become a client-facing representative of the team. He also showed a great deal of efforts outside of the project and collaborated in many of the company's initiatives. I would very much welcome the opportunity to work with him again in the future.
