I got accustomed to a new set of applications used to help the client whenever it was needed either for Internet Banking and Mobile Banking support or for credit and debit cards. I also learned more things about loans and this meant understanding the way interest rate works and was calculated for each type of loan, doing the calculus and the paperwork for when someone wanted to end the loan before the final maturity. I can say that this place helped to develop a lot. Aside from the customer oriented part of the job, inbound and outbound calls, I was a part of the team that was involved in the Digital Onboarding project - a platform that people would use to open a bank account at THECHVENTURES BANK, meaning we managed the design and content was displayed on the platform, and test the functionalities of it. We would also authorize the payments made by our clients in the Internet Banking application if they would've been triggered the PNG alert after they we're checked by the Conformity Department. Learning to use the Bank's applications: Absolut - the core of Bank; Banksoft - an application used to menage the debit and credit card; Fraud module - an application used for monitoring the cardholders transaction activity; Tasks: Inbound calls - listening the client problems and analyze it in order to choose either to solve it during the phone call or to open a ticket and escalade it to other intern departments; Outbound calls - often to give the response for a ticket that we opened or during the night shifts to complete the procedure or fraud monitoring; Checking fraud module during night shifts - we had to see if an alert would trigger in the application and if it did we had to try contact the cardholder and confirm or deny the payment. The alert was triggered by the merchant code, merchant country or merchant name. Based on their response we would use a different procedure. Show less
