Due to the experience I've gained in the simulation space, I've joined RPM's development team to work on the new simulation software project.As a Software Engineer I've been responsible for the design and development of the simulation logic using C++ and I've been also working on the User Interface and integration of the simulation software with RPM's mine planning applications using WPF and C#.

Mining Consultant

I first joined the RPM’s technical support team as a Mining Consultant providing assistance to customers using RPM’s applications. This role helped me to better understand the mining business and allowed me to be proficient in the majority of RPM’s applications.As a Mining Consultant I also provided mine planing solutions and scripting using RPM’s software. Having development skills and being able to write scripts on RPM’s applications allowed me to rapidly develop solutions for complex problems.Still as a Mining Consultant, I developed an integration layer between RPM’s applications and a third party discrete event simulation software (using C++ and C#) to provide multi-fleet haulage simulation solutions for clients.This later led the company to be interested in developing an off-the-shelf multi-fleet haulage simulation software.
