As the Head of Leadership and Competence Development at NCC, I have worked closely with Andreas to organize in-person training for NCC’s top leadership and our mega project managers. Andreas has worked for NCC, both as a consultant on project management and Reference Class Forecasting (RCF), and as a lecturer on the systematic challenges of mega projects and the power of using data and data analytics, consistently demonstrating exceptional skills and professionalism. Andreas has a natural talent for teaching and a gift for explaining complex concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging for his students. His lectures are always extremely well-researched, insightful, and thought-provoking even for experts in the field, and he is patient and supportive in creating a positive learning environment. As a consultant, Andreas has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. He has provided valuable insights and guidance on a range of issues and played a critical role in navigating complex challenges. Andreas has a deep understanding of the industry and stays up-to-date with the latest trends and developments. His ability to think critically and strategically has been a significant asset to our organization. Andreas is also highly adaptable and flexible, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that his work is of the highest quality. His dedication and approach to work make him a valuable asset to any organization seeking a talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated consultant and lecturer. In summary, I strongly recommend Andreas Bang Leed for any position

One of the most important questions for an infrastructure project is: What should it cost? Unfortunately, this is often a very hard question to answer. Andreas helped us to understand this question better by providing quantitative evidence on how the cost to build seven types of infrastructure projects compared between New Zealand and the rest of the world. His research, which is published on our website (https://www.tewaihanga.govt.nz/strategy/infrastructure-reports/the-lay-of-the-land-benchmarking-new-zealands-infrastructure-delivery-costs/), is a significant contribution to our evidence base on the performance of the New Zealand infrastructure sector. In his work, Andreas combines broad international experience with infrastructure projects with statistical rigour in analysing hard data on projects. This is a rare combination of skills. I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to learn from him.

As a Research Assistant at Aarhus University, my key responsibilities included performing quantitative analysis using STATA, analyzing sample representativeness, reporting on research design, and coordinating data collection. I worked on the Danish National Election Study and PERSOS research programmes, both of which involved conducting large-scale surveys and collecting data on political attitudes and behaviors. In this role, I was responsible for ensuring that the research design and data collection methods were appropriate and effective, and for conducting analysis to evaluate the representativeness of the samples. I also performed statistical analysis using STATA to help identify trends and patterns in the data, and reported on my findings to the research team and other stakeholders. Show less
