Follow up and clarify queries by QCAA. - Ensure all AD dirty finger print documents are maintained for airframe, engines and APUs and are correctly updated in the correlating time control system (TRAX). - Check and clarify queries regarding all technical records and technical publication. - Effect temporary or permanent special projects according to management commissioning. - Support the Director Technical Control on his request in regards to his duties to ensure all processes and department tasks are fulfilled. Undertaking technical reviews of aircraft and components prior to and during maintenance, repair or overhaul at contract MRO's or manufacturers, to optimize the workscope to maintain technical standards, operational availability and economics as well as general project and development work on ground equipments directly connected to the airframes and systems of company aircraft and ensure that these are compatible with the technical standards of the airframes and systems. Verification of work carried out on company aircraft and components at MRO's, iaw the technical requirements defined at the technical reviews. Liaison with airframe and component manufacturers, MRO's, other equipment operators and other Sections of the Engineering & Maintenance and Flight Operations Departments on all matters relating to the development and maintenance practices on airframes, systems and components, as well as, with airframe and component manufacturers and approval authorities on all matters relating to technical standards of maintenance, repair and overhaul of company aircraft, systems and components. Evaluation of AOT’s, Mandatory and Alert SBs and ADs related to airframes, systems and components and recommend their embodiment, by issuing appropriate documentation to Planning Section. Assessment of non-Mandatory SBs and Mod's, SILs, OITs, and other information issued by the aircraft, and component manufacturers and make recommendations for embodiment. Monitoring of defect trends arising from Reliability reports and liaise with manufacturers where it is considered that design changes are necessary to alleviate future defects and improve reliability, as well as, airframe and component warranty/guarantee agreements.
