Head of Operations & Real Estate
-
Sep 2016 - Sep 2020
When I started, Preem was preparing to perform a Market entry in Norway. This was performed through start-up of an own depot and purchase of YX Bulk containing staff, clients and option to acquire or reject equipment. The ambition was to continue to grow in bulk and start up a CRT-network in Norway, compatible with the SÅIFA-card – mainly driven by sourcing Norway with more sustainable fuels. Main Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing, planning and establishing a CRT-network. This task targeted both physical establishments, setting up a card solution compatible with other fleet cards and designing and start up the daily operations processes of facility management and supervising the sites operations. • Responsible for the process of due diligence regarding retained asset agreement – addressing the environmental risks as well as standards of the equipment in order to decide which equipment to take ownership of and which not to. Key Achievements:• Established four own sites on prime locations, and started a project of a manned station together with YX. Using those as a leverage and buy in, I negotiated an alliance where Preem got access to approx. 50 sites all over Norway with YX and Preem were profiled together and where Preems cards were accepted, but where YX both took care of daily operations as well as the environmental risk. The outcome was that Preem had 50 co-branded sites and card collaboration on an additional 100 sites, covering the whole country. • Managed the Retained Asset Agreement settlement thoroughly, ensuring minimized risk of transferred equipment and kept all clients.
