I had the pleasure to mentor Andreas as he wrote his bachelor's thesis on Preference-based Inverse Reinforcement Learning at inovex. Andreas astonished me with his enormous dedication and interest in this research topic. At an early stage of his career he already manages to extrapolate from state-of-the-art scientific research by ideating and developing new ideas which he examined throughout his work. His independence and profound scientific literary were highly valuable. In addition, I experienced him as a calm, open person with a strong willingness to learn and perform. No doubt, he will be a great asset for data science and research, and I really enjoyed mentoring him.
