      I have been responsible for co-managing 5StarWines Selection hosted by Vinitaly. This three-day blind tasting is carried out by the 5StarWines Scientific Committee, this was officiated by Lynne Sherriff MW together with the General Chairman: Robert Joseph, Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW, Matthew Waldin, Bernard Burtschy and Daniele Cernilli. My main responsibilities were to manage and coordinate the recruitment of wineries nationally and internationally, leading contract negotiations and proposals with all vendors and suppliers and establishing and maintaining client and suppliers relationships. I coordinated the external sales team who support the event. I have achieved an increase of 12% on submissions from the previous editions.The event involved significant organisational and logistical skills. My other key role was to organise incoming wines from all over the world including their warehouse storage and anonymity. In addition I managed marketing content and ensured data integrity for the internal and customer-facing event websites, as well as printed materials.During the event my responsibilities included, but were not limited to, liaising with judges (including Masters of wine, Master Sommeliers and other key industry experts) and managing operational and administrative aspects to ensure the event was delivered efficiently and effectively.
