      • Research associate in Prof. Neil Brockdorff’s group (Biochemistry Department, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK) - Research project 1: “PRC2 recruitment and Xist/polycomb spatial organization”. Paper published - Research project 2: “Defining Xist-RNA protein partners by unbiased shRNA screening”. Paper published. Managing/main duties/responsibilities: -Supervising/managing 2 undergraduates and 1 D.Phil student. -Tutorials teaching (small groups) -Responsible for safety during demonstrations. - Co-Responsible for initial lab set-up (senior) - Responsible for my research projects and students’ research projects. -Presenting research seminars. -Science divulgation as Junior Research Fellow at Somerville College. Research interest: X-chromosome inactivation is, possibly, the best example of an epigenetic phenomenon, where an entire chromosome in females (X chromosome) is silenced in order to balance the gene dosage with males. My projects involved studying genetic dosage compensation in mice using a multi-disciplinary approach. Show less
