  My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, instructional support, leadership, and supervision. I work collaboratively with grade level and department teams to ensure best practices in teaching, data driven instruction, and project based learning experiences. I complete teacher evaluations, provide professional development to faculty and staff, and oversee curriculum implementation in grades 6-8. I meet frequently with the administrative and leadership staff to ensure we are supporting student, staff, and community needs while working to carryout the vision of the District Superintendent and the Board of Education. We have implemented a 1:1 device initiative in grade 5-12, have moved to a Google platform district wide, and are committed to having Smart technology in every classroom. This is possible through a team approach including the School Business Manager, System Administrator, Superintendent, Building Principals, and members of the Instructional Staff. I am a member of the Middle School Principals Cabinet that coordinates agendas, speakers, and topic discussion for regional bi-monthly meetings. In an effort to support District initiatives related to curriculum and instruction, I have participated in classes and trainings through Lesley University, Cambridge Ma, attend the Literacy For All conference in Rhode Island, and am chairing the K-12 Science Task Force.
