During my years with this company, I learned many valuable skills, including teamwork, leadership, & time-management/prioritization. I was not only the assistant manager, but also had the role of electronic receiver, both very different positions that I learned to do very well. As the assistant manager, I was responsible for the day to day management of the store, including, but not limited to: opening/closing the store, creating schedules, making sure there was money in the drawers, depositing checks, etc. I was also responsible for logistical planning to ensure deliveries, both from our vendors & to our customers, were dealt with in a timely, efficient manner. I was also responsible for developing new procedures, as well an ensuring that employees understood them and were implementing them. As the electronic receiver, I was responsible for communicating with vendors, ordering products, and receiving the products into our system, as well as dealing with RMA's when things weren't delivered correctly, or not working as they should.
