Developed policy positions and delivered advocacy and campaigning objectives relating to anti-child trafficking efforts in the UK. Designed effective public affairs strategies and developed relationships with Parliamentarians and key stakeholders to inform their understanding of child trafficking in the UK. Undertook original primary research on child trafficking including interviews and focus groups with stakeholders and former child victims of trafficking attending the ECPAT youth groups. Lead author of research report on trafficked and unaccompanied minors going missing from the care of UK local authorities, Heading Back to Harm (published November 2016) Expert speaker at numerous conferences and events on human trafficking in the UK and EU. Part of a delegation of UK experts from children’s charities who presented to EU wide conference on missing migrant children, hosted by Missing Children Europe and the Maltese President's Foundation in Malta 2017.Worked on projects which promoted partnership working with non-statutory and statutory organisations involved in anti-trafficking, including the Metropolitan Police (child abuse and human trafficking divisions). Delivered ECPAT UK training courses to frontline professionals, including a tailored programme of training with the Metropolitan Police Modern Slavery Unit, and coordination of DfE funded training programme for foster carers across England.
