At Squadra Corse PoliTo I worked in the Battery Pack division for the design of the car's battery pack of 2019. In particular I dealt with the following activities: - Experimental tests on different types of cells to select the most suitable one; - CFD analysis and experimental validations on the cooling system of the battery pack; - Design of High Voltage and Low Voltage components; - Participation in the manufacturing process of the battery pack (assembly of HV modules, assembly of LV modules, lamination of battery pack houses) and of the vehicle. Results obtained in the 2019 season: -Formula Student Italy 1st place overall in the Electric Vehicles category; -Formula Student Czech Republic 6th place overall in the Electric Vehicles category; -Formula Student Spain 13th place overall in the Electric Vehicles category.
