I provide real time, high speed captions for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students both remotely and live in the classroom, depending on student need. I transcribe lectures from professors as well as questions and comments from students. When the rate of speech is too fast to record word for word, I listen intently for key points of a speaker's message and make quick decisions about how to capture they key points while conveying the style and tone of the speaker.
