  The research focuses on the structure of trans-national food supply chains. The PhD scholarship is part of the Food and Health education and research programme within the Sino.-Danish Center (SDC - a partnership between universities in Denmark and China). The project investigates the effects of information asymmetry and other barriers on production, manufacturing, trade, retail and food services between Denmark and China, and between China and the EU, comparing the different business environments and collaboration models.
