  Seasonal position at a local resident camp-filled nearly all available positions during the 6 summers employed with GSCO. 2003: Dishwasher/support staff. Responsible for meal assistance, cleanup and dishwashing as well as providing coverage or assistance to camper units whenever needed. 2004: Unit counselor. Part of a 3-4 counselor team under a Unit Leader. Responsible for helping to plan and carry out a camp unit's schedule, lead activities and facilitate in a fun and safe environment. 2005: Unit counselor/Unit leader. Same as above, but as a Unit Leader was responsible for scheduling activities and supervising other unit counselors, as well as providing a fun and safe experience for the campers. 2006: Unit leader. 2007-2008: Program Staff-Arts & Crafts Specialist. Planned and instructed crafts sessions for every camper unit on property at least once a week. Responsibilities included making sure crafts were age-appropriate and safety precautions taken with materials and tools, keeping the craft hut clean and organized, ordering new supplies when needed. Also provided coverage/supervision in camper units when short-staffed. Assisted Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director in daily tasks.
