    • Lincoln Park Manager & Cryotherapist
      • Aug 2017 - Feb 2021

My position at The CryoBar had two main facets - client-facing and managerial. In terms of my Cryotherapist role, I facilitated all of our services and educated clients on what cryotherapy is and all of the treatments available. I also would explain our different purchase options to clients to ensure they bought the best option for them. I ensured that clients had a positive experience for the entirety of their time in the store, as well as answering the phone, booking appointments, and other front-desk related duties. For my managerial role, I handled all day-to-day operations for our Lincoln Park location, such as opening and closing the store, keeping track of liquid nitrogen usage, and cleaning the facility as needed. For all three locations, I managed all staffing efforts, including scheduling, interviewing, and training all new employees about the services, policies and culture of The CryoBar. I would collaborate with the owners and other location managers regarding internal & external communication, marketing, and policy changes as necessary.

    • Nanny
      • Sep 2016 - Oct 2017

During this period, I nannied for two different families. Family 1: September 2016 - November 2016 1B & 1G (occasionally 5G & 6G) After arriving, I would wake the twins up from their nap and get them ready for the rest of their day. We would enjoy a snack and then play until one of their parents arrived home. I would either stay to keep them entertained until the other parent arrived, or I would help out with cooking or other household tasks as needed. I was let go after 3 months because the family no longer needed my help because their schedule had changed. Family 2: January 2017 - October 2017 2B With this family, I would arrive in the morning and get their son up for the day. I would get him breakfast, and then we would go for a walk to the playground or play inside depending on the weather. We worked on a lot of fine motor skills and I helped potty train him. I only left because they had twins and did not need me during their parental leaves.

    • Campus Tour Guide
      • Apr 2015 - Aug 2017

I guided weekly campus tours for prospective students and their families, as well as leading larger tours during Visit Days. In addition to showing them the Lincoln Park campus, I would explain the different program offerings, highlight resources available to students, and explain what my college experience was like.

    • Take Back the Halls Intern
      • Oct 2016 - Jun 2017

Take Back the Halls is a teen dating violence prevention and community activism program that is designed to educate students about the signs of dating violence and how to prevent it, as well as give students the chance to analyze the world around them by looking at the social structure in place that can contribute to violence in our culture. During my internship, I co-faciliated a class at DePaul University that covered topics such as dating violence, sexual harassment, healthy relationships, and other societal issues such as racism. Each week, we would have students journal about the topic of class and we would respond to them, giving feedback regarding their analyses and motivating them to dig deeper when necessary. Our intern group would map out each class lesson, including what activities, journal prompts, and discussion questions. We would then take turns leading and supporting during the different portions of each class.

    • DePaul Ambassadors Communication and Marketing Coordinator
      • Jun 2016 - Jun 2017

The DePaul Ambassadors program is an organization that connects prospective students with current DePaul students to allow them to get a taste of what college is like and to learn about it more from a student's perspective. In this role, I managed all internal and external communications, as well as collaborated on all marketing efforts for the DePaul Ambassadors program. In addition to those main roles, I also helped with coordinating tours at Visit Days, participated on student panels, and had lunch with perspective students to discuss my college experience.
