I value the integrity of Andrea who draws others together and reflects strength and positivity to invigorate team work. Her passion is obvious and has tendrils directly to her heart as she steps forward and guides through role modeling and encouragement to all others to give their utmost and be surprised and delighted with share goals. She can grasp the many levels of any given tasks at hand professionally and weave sheer effort and magic into the projects to usher in sustainable approaches to connect with others. Her capabilities are not capped "they are seemingly endles"s but her fresh approach to bring others on the journey facilitates shared cooperation and team work. Her gifts in equipping with required resources in a timely manner is highly valued and inspiring. I have valued her role and wish her and the companies and organizations she goes into from here all the best. You will certainly have significant value added with Andrea on your team. Go and be well. Respectively

I was fortunate to meet Andrea when she was the CEO of the Mission to Seafarers in Melbourne. The first thing that struck me about Andrea was her unique blend of professionalism and compassion. It is rare to find someone today who has the ability to successfully lead an organisation yet still genuinely care about those they are serving. As a PR client, Andrea was always ready to step into whatever role we needed, whether it was TV, radio or simply a picture with the local paper. Always on message and smiling, Andrea is a joy to be around and a pleasure to work with.

With four port operations in Victoria, and for the purpose of providing service to those who live and work at sea, connecting into a national and international network I excelled in all of my passions, advocacy, strategic partnerships and leading an incredible team, supported by a dedicated board, to achieve more than I could have imagined, I gave it my best and when I left a took a good rest!

In 2007 I embarked on a journey of advocacy to bring attention to the human rights at sea. Responding to the plight of seafarers working under Flags of Convenience. Together with my Board we created a national campaign and international awareness of mental health at sea. I worked 6 days a week, running the MtSV 9am - 10pm daily, working alongside seafarers from diverse faith and cultures, my pastoral care work was more rewarding than any other achievement during those early years and stories shared of faith, bravery, slavery will be imprinted always in my memory and on my heart. Seafarers are resilient, the sea is a wild and unpredictable place and the longing and loneliness is a commonality shared by all. 90% of world trade relies on those who live and work at sea, and they rely on primarily volunteer services, people who run on-shore facilities to ensure there is a safe place for them during shore leave.
