I completed my doctoral capstone internship in the outpatient psychiatry department at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. For my capstone project, I developed, and implemented, an evidence-based, group intervention program for clients who are receiving early intervention psychosis services. The group focused on social roles and improving clients' participation and performance in social aspects of their lives. In addition to running and monitoring the outcomes of my group, I provided skilled OT services to a caseload of patients with a variety of neurocognitive and socioemotional needs and barriers to daily living and long-term goals.
